Fall is here?
Okay, to celebrate the return of the comments section*, here's an interactive post. Post a comment and answer this question:
What one thing tells you that Fall has arrived?
*There's that wavy-word validation on the comments now, which disables bots, but lets humans post. Have at it.

Okay, it's my blog, so I get more than one. Nyah.
1. My Air Conditioner didn't run at all one day last week.
2. The Harry & David's catalog arrived.
3. Spiders. Huge ones. All over the outside of the house. (We let them live, by the way.)
The smell of football in the air.
Christmas displays in all of the stores.
P.S. Some of us are hunters and some of us are prey.
The breeze that follows the rain
The sound of the Marching band on Friday nights at the high school down the street
The rich, dark colors at the mall
Mmmmm. All good, thanks. Here's more:
I haven't mowed (mown?) my lawn in a month, and it doesn't look too bad.
The screaming at 8:01, as my wife realizes that the new shows she's become obsessed with won't come back until after the World Series is over.
Frost on the pumpkins (usually late Fall). For those in the country - real pumpkins. For those in suburbia - The "pumpkin" in the driveway that should be in the garage. For those in the city - I am not sure you can tell when the season's change.
1. That fresh, cool blast of a breeze that hits you just as you walk out the door in the morning to go to work.
2. Leaves in the parking lot 2 days in a row. :)
I uttered that same scream...It used to be they waited till after baseball. Remember how hard it was to wait for the new season of X-files? Now they tease us with 3 episodes and say see you in a month!! I'm not sure I'll remember what shows I like by then.
Fall? What's that? There's no fall in Malibu, although it did rain here the other day. That's probably the closest we'll come to "fall".
Curt and Leanne
True, true. But I believe Fall in Malibu is called "Fire Season."
Good luck with that, and no sour grapes here.
