Unimportant update

Not exactly earth-shattering news, but the morning liquids lineup has changed. But let's define some terms here first.

These are the 4 boys:
T - oldest, currently 7
S1 - second child, first one with a name that begins with S, currently 5
J - third boy, currently 3
S2 - youngest, currently 1

(Why, you ask, don't I post with their real names? Because this is the Internet, and it's none of your business what their names are. How's that? If you know me, you know their names. If you don't, then I don't want you knowing their names. Just stay away from them, understand?)

Anyway, in my original post, I noted that S2 required the most labor-intensive drink of all in the mornings: whole milk, in a bottle, heated, shaken. No longer, hallelujah! We are beginning to see some blessed breakfast uniformity.

Today, it was orange juice for all. Two Moe's cups and two sippy cups of orange juice. Ahhhh. Sweet morning peace.

NB: we have two, well-used but in good condition, Avent bottles available. Buyer covers shipping.

Ah, yes! But I remember when #1 needed warmed CHOCOLATE milk in the mornings! Time, mercifully, does indeed march on.

Ha! My Mom's posting on my blog. How great is that.

The truth is, T had to have heated chocolate milk in the morning and heated milk at night, every day. This lasted until he was about 4 or so.

We fixed that. With all subsequent children, no heating of any kind continued once we moved to sippy cups.

So when T complains later in life that his little brothers are getting nicer cars, etc., I will politely remind him that he received roughly 1200+ days of warmed milk that they never got.

It's not like carrying someone around on the inside for 9 months, but a dad has to use whatever guilt capital is available.
